I have been designing and building web pages, web-sites and micro-sites for over 25 years. The first site I designed and built was the Official Nottingham Forest website (97-98 season).
During this time I have designed and built countless web-pages, but more importantly I have coached and tutored many junior team members on HTML/CSS and the general design and layout principals of web design.
At the start of my career we were (as an industry) focused on branding, visual and aesthetic layout of web pages. As my web design career matured, I began to focus on user experience, user interaction, mobile-first responsive design and accessibility.
The pages showcased here are created with phtml templates and running in the Magento CMS. The standalone landing pages are coded with either BootStrap 4.4 or custom written reusable styles. I also have experience of creating pages for BroadVision and Stellent, and whilst I was employed by Vodafone I was involved in reconfiguring the Stellent CMS to accept content pages created in Microsoft Word.
